Egyptian Japanese Love Chapter 17

Previously:

Your group took their spots as Judah did his. You saw that he had the girls placed where your guys were, and the guys where your girls were. You saw that he had taken his spot where you were on the other side. You bit back a growl and started dancing when the rhythm was faster. The others followed your lead, Tea right next to you. You all stopped at the same time just as Judah's started. You took turns until towards the middle of the song you were doing the same moves, both you and Judah glaring at each other the entire time. By the end of the song, Judah's gang was down. You smirked and took your curtsey while the rest of the students went wild with applause, most of them girls that Judah had dumped and wanted him to suffer. You saw the group walk out of the dance at that and smiled before giving Yugi a peck on the cheek and saying, "You did great."

He blushed and smiled while saying, "I wouldn't have if you weren't leading me."

You simply smiled and said, "I wouldn't have been here if you didn't ask."

Story Continues:

You and Yugi were talking with Ryou and Marik while Joey and Tristan were being dragged off to dance with Tea and Serenity. Mariku and Bakura were too busy looking out for fangirls and Maia and Yami were probably off making out in a nearby corner. You honestly thought that it was kinda funny how they didn't have a care in the world that people were staring at them, and you couldn't help laughing when you saw Yugi trying to fight back his laughter, but failing miserably. You then heard a slow song and Yugi took his hand in yours before starting off slow dancing. You couldn't help the blush on your face but smiled as he started leading you. Then a question came to your mind.

"Why is it that you don't mind dancing here but when we were at the club you wanted to get out of there as fast as possible?"

Yugi blushed at the question and said, "I didn't really know how to dance."

"I wouldn't have known from the way you've been dancing tonight," you said while he slowly twirled you.

His blush seemed to darken a little when he said, "Marik and Tea've been teaching me."

You smiled and hugged him while you were still dancing and after a second he returned it. You sighed contently and closed your eyes for a minute. When you opened them you saw that Yugi was smiling at you and you danced until the song ended. You both walked back to the others and you smiled when he pecked your cheek. Yugi smiled back at you and only looked away from you when Joey started talking to him. You smiled before Marik took you out to the dance floor one more time. You both danced while everybody else watched, the other dancers following your movements. You ended the song in a dip and Marik brought you back to your feet as everybody applauded and the DJ said, "And that's it, folks. Have a safe trip home. Goodnight."

You all started heading home and you shivered a little from the cold. After all, it was December. Yugi took his jacket off and handed it to you while you smiled and thought, 'What a gentleman' while saying a quick "Thanks." You put on the jacket while Yugi placed an arm around your shoulders to keep you warm. You smiled at him while looking over to Marik only to see that he was already half way home, Mariku right behind him.

You handed Yugi his jacket back when you got to your house and kissed his cheek again before starting to go inside, only to feel his hand still in yours. You instead gave him an innocent kiss on his lips as he smiled and let go of your hand. You went inside after (s/n) told you to hurry up and you gave him a wave before closing the door, everybody else already inside. Yugi smiled while waving back and walking home with everyone else, smiling the whole time while tracing his lips. You giggled at your boyfriend before starting to walk upstairs and to your room. You washed your face free of the makeup and then took your hair out of the ringlets before changing into pajamas and telling our sister everything when she came inside your room.

-----Yugi's P.O.V.-----

Yugi was still tracing his lips from your kiss, oblivious to the fact that everybody else was either chuckling or smiling at him. He sighed contently before realizing that he was still with everybody and blushed slightly. Joey said, "Aw Yugi, you got it bad."

"Don't tease him, Joey. I think it's sweet," Tea said while gicing Yugi an encouraging smile.

"Besides, Yami probably went through the same thing with Maia," Tristan said while looking over to the Pharaoh chuckling at Yugi.

He stopped chuckling at that and was silent for the rest of the time, proving Tristan's point. Yugi smiled at that and walked the rest of the way home after dropping off everybody else and said to Yami, "You do know that you proved his point, right?"

"Yes, I do. Maia was and is the only girl that is able to do that to me, but not because I chose her. Because destiny and love did," Yami said while smiling slightly as they entered the house, "I'm very grateful for that."

Yugi smiled while taking off his tux and putting on some pajamas, Yami doing the same before they both went to bed, and for the first time as Yugi fell asleep, he felt as if there should be someone laying there next to him, and he knew who that someone was.

-----Your P.O.V.------

You woke up the next morning feeling happier than you had in a long time. You saw that your sister had fallen asleep next to you and smiled before waking her up. She grumbled something about monkeys taking her bananas before looking up to see you. You smiled down at her and whispered, "Hey squirt. What's this about monkeys taking your bananas?"

She giggled before saying, "Jus a weird dream, _____."

You giggled and came closer to her before starting to tickle your little sister. She couldn't help the giggles and was trying to tell you to stop but you would not give up. She managed to grab your arms before starting to tickle you, making you giggle and laugh, neither of you noticing your cousins in the doorway. You only looked up when you heard a chuckle other than you or your sister's giggles and saw Marik and Odion there. (S/N) smiled and got off of you while you caught your breath, Marik smirking evilly before heading toward you. You were too late when you thought, 'Oh no.'

He started tickling you and you were having practical spasms from it, and you managed to roll yourself into a ball, but Marik managed to break through and tickle you everywhere, making you laughing until you couldn't breathe. He only stopped then and you managed to push him off of the bed and run out of your room, dodging Odion's arms and your sister's legs. You ran all the way down to the living room startling a bewildered Mariku and a smiling Ishizu before heading down the hall for a hiding spot, but before you could, Marik caught you and you said, "Please . . . no . . . more . . . tickling . . ."

He smirked and let you go, making you fall to the floor. You sent him a scowl before standing back up and tackling the poor blond to the ground and lightly punching him where you could. Mariku let out a chuckle while Marik laughed at your punches. You stood back up and huffed before hearing the doorbell. You went to answer it while blowing the hair out of your face. You smiled when you saw that there was a package on the ground addressed to you. You picked it up and looked around for Yugi but didn't find him. You let a small amount of sadness come onto your face but you still kept smiling thinking, 'He really is a sweet guy.'

You closed the door and took the package to the dining room, Maia just now coming downstairs. You gave her a smile before opening the package and seeing flowers. You smiled while taking the flowers and putting them in a vase. You then put the flowers on your desk in your room, smiling at them before changing into some real clothes and grabbing your winter vest before heading back downstairs and eating a quick breakfast before following the others out to Yugi and Yami's. Once you arrived, you smiled and kissed Yugi's cheek before saying, "Thanks for the flowers."

He smiled and said, "Least I could do," before pulling you into an actual kiss. You smiled while kissing back, not noticing that Yami had just put mistletoe there. You heard Bakura and Mariku wolf whistling at the two of you and Yugi broke the kiss blushing a bright red. Granted, you were just as red but you said, "Well that's a nice hello."
