For Demyx Lovers

You were enjoying your day off from the Organization missions by listening to your favorite song, and ended up singing along quietly. You were a great singer, it's just that you never really weren't into performing, and if anyone found out, they'd make you. Unfortunately, your quiet singing could be heard from just outside your door, because someone had knocked on it very quickly before barging into the room. Demyx had a happy glint in his eye when he hopped onto your bed and couldn't keep still because he was so excited. You blushed a bright red in embarrassment from him catching your singing and buried your head into your pillow. Demyx just giggled gleefully and lifted your head up from the pillow, giving you a hug.

"I didn't know you could sing, _______" Demyx said very loudly.

"Shh . . ." you said while scrambling to shut the door before the whole castle had heard about it.

"How come you never told me," Demyx asked quietly, his smile turning into a pout.

"I learned back when I was a Somebody that when I told people, they would force me to perform, even if I didn't want to," you said quickly and quietly, hoping that none of the other members had heard Demyx, especially Roxas, Xion, and Axel because they would turn your existence into a living hell if they found out. And knowing Demyx, the Nobody you really didn't want to know the most, would tell them.

"You have to promise not to tell anyone. Please, Demyx," you said, practically begging on your knees.

"I promise I won't tell," Demyx said while pulling you into another hug. You blushed slightly because somehow you had grown feelings for Demyx, despite the fact that you don't have a heart. You hugged back, though. He gave you one of his contageous smiles so that you couldn't help but smile back. You had noticed that Demyx had gone a little red, too.

"Thank you. You don't know how much that promise means to me," you say while looking him straight in the eye. His blush turned a little darker from this and looks away from your gaze, trying to hide it. You smile while thinking, "Does that mean he likes me?" over and over again. There was an awkward silence and it was only broken when Axel came barging into your room, looking exhausted.

"______, hide me," Axel managed to pant out before hiding under your bed. He was completely hidden when you saw Xigbar looking very angry. He came to your doorway and growled out, "Where's Axel?"

"I saw him run past here about a minute ago, I think Axel was heading to the Grey Room," you lied convincingly, seeing as you've had to do this about once a week so that Axel wasn't turned into a Dusk. You've bailed him out more times then you can count. Xigbar said a quick "Thanks" before heading to the Grey Room. Axel had come out of hiding after about two minutes and gave you a hug of thanks, kissing the top of your head in appreciation. Demyx immediately looked to you what looked like jealousy. When you weren't looking at Axel, he gave Demyx a look that said, "Ask her out already, or I will."

After saying another quick thanks to you, Axel left your room, closing the door in the process. You turned back to Demyx, who actually looked angry, something you never thought was possible.

"Demyx, are you okay," you asked hesitantly, because you didn't know what would happen. Demyx noticed the hesitation and immediately calmed down, muttering a quick "I'm fine." He looked down at his coat and started playing with the zipper, not even looking at you. You took his hand and thought, "Well, now or never."

"Demyx, I l-love you," you managed to stutter out while turning tomato red. He had looked up and blushed a bright red.

"R-really," He asked. You nodded your head, preparing yourself to never be able to talk to him again. He smiled and before you knew what was happening, Demyx was kissing you, softly and passionately. All you could do was kiss back as he wrapped his arms around your waist. You had put your hands on his chest when your eyes had finally fluttered closed. About a minute afterward, Demyx broke the kiss and smiled as he said, "I love you, too."

You smiled back, and then the both of you headed out of your room hand in hand, you thinking, "Maybe you're right, Demyx. Maybe we do have hearts."
