You looked over to where you knew the Satelite was and sighed before turning back to your D--Wheel to fix the braking system while thinking about what your life was there. You managed to get yourself out of there after your older brother was imprisoned and was now out but really sick, so you've been taking care of him. You looked back at the Satelite before finishing the a touch of the repair. You heard a runner outside your shop and stood up while heading out to see who it was. You could tell that the guy originally came from the Satelite like you from the way he was more rigid than people who've lived on the good side of things their whole lives. You went to turn back when you saw that it was your friend, you started heading back into your shop. Turning back to face him while wiping off the oil and grease you got a good look at him and said, "Hey Yusei, long time no see."
He nodded while taking off his helmet and you went back to working on the braking system of your own runner saying, "Need any spare parts or something?"
"Not really. Jack and Crow are at it again," he said while you rolled your eyes with a chuckle and said, "Well what do you expect? They're both really competitive. Just because they're friends won't stop it."
You grabbed your wrench and said, "What about Luna, Leo, and Akiza? How are they holding up?"
"They're doing alright," he said and you heard him going over to your design table to which you rolled out from underneath your runner and watched him looking at what you'd done so far.
You rolled your eyes and jokingly said, "Don't you go trying to steal my ideas. You'd end up being just as bad as Jack."
He turned to you and gave you a small smile before you heard your brother quietly call out your name. You started heading to his room and said, "What can I do for you, (brother's name)?"
"Come here, ______," he quietly said while weakly motioning you over.
You did so and sat down next to him as he coughed before saying, "I'm not gonna last much longer, __(nickname)__."
"Don't say that. You're gonna get better in no time," you said while feeling his forehead to see that the fever had gone down only a little before he let out a weak laugh and said, "Stop trying to give me hope when I know there's no use. Before it happens, I want you to have this."
He held out his deck carrier with shaking hands to which you helped him hold as he placed it in your hands and said, "Make me proud, __(n/n)__. Love you, no matter what."
You looked back up at him with sad eyes as you gently gave him a hug before saying, "I'll let you get some rest."
He let out another weak laugh as you left the room, holding on tightly to his deck carrier. After you had closed the door and walked down the hall, you leaned against the wall before sliding down onto the floor, the carrier still in your hands. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath while keeping your tears in check as you looked out at your shop. You saw Yusei come down the hall and you put your head on your knees while taking deep breaths, hearing him ask, "Everything okay, ______?"
"He's making it so difficult to even hope he'll be okay," you said when you were calm enough to respond, "He keeps saying that he's gonna die soon."
You felt your friend come closer as he said, "(B/N)'s gonna be fine, though. You said that he was getting better."
"But not by much," you said as you looked up and into your friend's blue eyes that you have gotten lost in every once in awhile, "The fever only goes down the smallest degree, but he's not eating much and can't even walk without some sort of assistance. Yusei, something tells me that (b/n)'s telling me the truth, but I don't want to hear it. What should I do?"
He looked over to your brother's room while thinking about what to say. You knew that this might take awhile so you leaned your head on his shoulder. He started rubbing your back like he always did when you were this high strained, though it rarely happened. You looked outside at the city and thought, 'Everything the doctors said was true. He'll end up dead at the end of the week.'
You felt Yusei move slightly and you turned to face him when he looked down at you and said, "Is there something that may have been overlooked?"
You shook your head no before taking another deep breath and saying, "Nothing."
Yusei looked at you with sadness in his eyes as he said, "Everything's gonna be alright, ______. No matter what happens."
You simply nodded, your throat too constricted to say anything. You knew that the day would come when you'd have to say goodbye to (b/n), but you didn't think it'd be now, when you're just now starting out your adulthood. You then started heading into the shop. After finishing up the repair on the braking system, you looked over to your friend again and said, "I know I can't do anything to stop this, so I'll just have to prepare myself for it."
You looked at your runner again and then over to your brother's before opening the deck carrier and seeing his keys instead of his deck. You pplaced the keys in your hand before heading over to the runner and saying, "May as well get started on putting this back into shape," and then turned over to Yusei and said, "I'm gonna need help though."
He nodded while walking over and you placed the keys in a safe place after pulling the runner toward your work station after moving yours into its parking space. You looked over to your friend as he started checking out the interior while you started listing off what he'd say you'd need after doing so with the exterior too. You managed to keep the thing in pretty good shape but there were a couple of replacements that you'd need anyway because of how worn down they'd become from the years. You pulled your hair up into a ponytail again before double checking the replacement supplies needed that were in your stock and then looked over to your friend after popping open the hood and starting on replacing the engine.
You looked over to him with a small smile before getting back to work, not noticing that he had returned your smile. You had no clue why, but Yusei always made you feel better when he came around. You looked at the steering gears and put them into top shape before thinking, 'What I do know is that I wouldn't trade anything for having someone as great as Yusei in my life.' After you had finished the steering you looked outside to see how late it had gotten and waved your friend off as he started heading home, only closing the garage door and the shop when he was out of sight. You looked out at the twilight of the city and shook your head before placing yours and your brother's keys on the hooks in the kitchen before starting to cook up something for dinner. You brought (b/n) some soup and sat down next to him while eating your own meal, watching the highlights of the last tournament before turning off the tv before hearing, "______, could you stay here until I fall asleep?"
You smiled at your brother and said, "Of course I can, (b/n)."
You sat down on the chair and said, "Especially from all those times you did with me."
He smiled at the memories and said, "I'm glad we lived back there believe it or not."
You raised an eyebrow, to which hegave another weak laugh at and said, "If we didn't live in the Satelite, we wouldn't be as close as we are now."
You laughed lightly before hearing him ask, "Could you sing to me? Like mom did before the accident?"
"I don't know, (b/n). I never had Mom's talent," you said to which he laughed again before saying, "______, you've got the best voice in town."
You smiled and took to his request, singing a lulluby and finishing it even after he fell asleep. You then quietly shut the door and walked to your room, changing into pajamas before looking out your window to the city again before saying, "Yeah, I'm glad we lived there too." You then got into bed and went to sleep, happy despite everything that's happening.
He nodded while taking off his helmet and you went back to working on the braking system of your own runner saying, "Need any spare parts or something?"

Yusei Fudo X Reader: Would You Rather?
You wake up with Yusei nuzzling against your neck and squeezing you in his strong arms. Memories of last night come flooding him which make you blush immensely.
Usually he was quiet yet confident but whenever he was alone with you he would soften up. He loved everything that you the person you are and never stopped caring.
"Morning." You say huskily.
His only response is to tangle himself into your limbs even more, if that's even possible. "Come on, I have to get up and go to work."
"No. Call in sick." Yusei insisted nuzzling closer to you.
He was making it hard to go to work today which was his goal.
"Yusei, I-." you began.

Changing Tides - Yusei Fudo X Reader [Part 1]
You were going to do it.
Those were the only words that echoed in your head as you stood on the edge of the docks, watching silently as the waves lapped hungrily at the concrete you stood on.
You stared out at the faint figure across the water; a large, grey mass that looked absolutely disgusting even from this distance.
You watched the smoke billowing from it, the slowly darkening skies, the half-finished bridge that had held so many hopes and dreams.
All of it was disgusting.
You hated it here, in the Satellite. Everything about this place made you feel rotten. The atmosphere, the decay. Even the people made you feel like giving up.

Yugi Muto x Reader 'what a date...'- chapter 2
When you arrived at the café, you found a table inside and sat down. You hung your hand-bag to the one side of your chair and started a conversation with Yugi about duel monster’s abilities, till a waitress came to take your order.
Daily life, duel monsters and sometimes some jokes were the usual parts of your conversations, but the truth is that you were never getting bored of that “routine” and each time you wished for that to never change.
Somewhere around the middle of the chat, Yugi exclaimed. “Oh; I almost forgot! Did you bring your deck to show you the new card combination, you were talking about yesterd
